On March 27, 2025, Catherine was walking a dog for a friend. During the walk, the large dog she was handling became unexpectedly spooked and began to run. Her wrist was attached to the leash, so she was unable to let go. Tragically, Catherine ended up falling face-first into the sidewalk. Her jaw was broken in three places. She has already undergone surgery and now has her jaw wired shut for six weeks, after which dental reconstruction will begin.
