Hi, my name is Michelle and I am Ricky’s sister. I have been absolutely devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of my dear brother back in the UK. After being unable to contact him for three days, he was discovered tragically deceased on Friday. We still don’t know the cause of his death, and whilst we wait for what seems like forever for a postmortem, we are having to deal with our grief so far away from my mum who, although has amazing support of friends around her, really does need her family there too.

Ricky and I have always shared a very special relationship, and being across the other side of the world unable to support my mum at this time is incredibly tough.

Unfortunately emigrating abroad two years ago took everything we had, and today I got declined for a bank loan to be able to pay for flights for myself and two of my three children; Elsa and Blake to return to both help my mum sort out Ricky’s affairs and attend his funeral. With three flights and emergency travel documents for the children (passports have less than 6 months on them) it quickly adds up.

I am not someone who asks for help lightly, but options are exhausted. I would dearly love to be in the presence of my brother one last time, and to give Elsa and Blake the opportunity to do the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
