Dear friends and family of our beloved Bill DeHeer,

You may recently have heard the shocking news that Bill, the beloved gym teacher and coach at Phil-Mont Christian Academy for 37 years, was diagnosed with AML - a type of leukemia. Bill is at Penn and will start chemo this week.

On behalf of Bill, his wife Lona and their sons Lee, James, Sam and Thomas, I am launching this GoFundMe. Bill taught all four of my children at PMCA.

Besides a plea for continued prayers, there are practical matters to tend to. Like many others, when you heard the news, you despaired, prayed, and wondered, "What can I do to help?"

Giving financially is one thing we can do. While future needs are not yet known, we all know expenses can mount from any direction.

Please be in continual prayer for a full restoration of his health.

Look for updates here in the future. Lona's good friend Joanna Bellinger is helping coordinate things for the family.
