Please assist, in memory of Brian Rudder Sr.

On Friday, May 23rd, 2025 the world lost a wonderful man, Brian Rudder Sr.

Brian had been struggling for some years now with COPD. After his cancer diagnosis, he was given around 3 months to live. He passed those 3 months by, and we were all lucky enough to get a few more months with him than were originally anticipated. He was able to spend those months with his family, the people he loved the most in the world, his wife, Brenda, his children, Chauntel (and Roman), and Brian (and Stephanie), and his grandsons, Noah, Khol, Colton, and Dawson.

Brian was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to many. He loved nature, was a talented harmonica player, always had a joke to put a smile on anyone's face, and he absolutely adored being a grandfather.

I have the privilege of knowing the Rudder family through Brian Jr, who has been my friend for almost as long as I can remember. Brian and Brenda have treated me like I was their own for decades. Whether it was a cheering on, a celebration, or I deserved a good, stern talking to. They've fed me, always welcomed me into their home (or trailer), and they've watched my son grow up. All these years later, the Rudder family is my family. I know my story with them isn't original. Everyone whose made it here has their own story, but the endings are all the same. They welcome you with open arms, you become a member of their family, and they will love you dearly. The entire family is made up of kind, loving, genuinely good people. During this time of immense sadness, it's time for their village to wrap around them, and help in any way we can. Funerals are so expensive, with nothing under $10,000, and every dollar can help give Brian the send off he deserves. Whether or not you're able to donate, please share this page, and share your wonderful stories of Brian, he'll live forever in our memories. If anyone has photos to share, I'm sure everyone else would love to see them.

All money raised will go directly to the family
