Please Aid Ayden on his Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Much like other kids his age, Ayden is a carefree, easygoing eight-year-old boy with a strong love for music, animals, and construction. Unfortunately for this tough cookie, however, Ayden has been diagnosed with a rare disorder called “Guillain-Barre Syndrome.” This illness is one that causes your body’s immune system to attack your nerves, with its first symptoms being weakness and tingling in your extremities. Although recovery time is often between 6 months to 2 years, it is an uphill battle including lots of extensive physical therapy. In hopes to avoiding paralysis, Ayden will have to relearn many skills, like walking and talking. While he is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, beside him throughout this journey will be Ayden’s mother, Allison, his father, Kris, his younger brother, Carson, along with his mamaw, Renee. Kris is currently a cadet in the police academy, with only 4 more weeks to go. Allison is a medical assistant, although she will have to take time off in order to care for Ayden during his recovery. Despite the future being uncertain, Ayden remains to stay positive and is a bright light to anyone he encounters. Your financial help and support are greatly appreciated during this difficult time. With your encouragement, Ayden and his family can be provided for and worry a little less going into this new year. God Bless you all.
