PGBC Flood Relief for Fairview and Surrounding Communities

I am Pastor Mike Reeves with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located in Fairview NC. Our Community has been ravaged with historical flooding and landslides. Many people have lost their lives, their families, and all their homes and belongings. We want to be a Blessing to this Community and render aid and support to these families who have lost everything as well as to those who are unable to leave their homes. We have opened up our Church for Relief Supplies to be dropped off and picked up. We have volunteers who are working to distribute these items into areas where the residents have been unable to get out. We have received numerous calls and messages from people who want to donate but are unable to bring items to our location. We are setting up this fund to accept donations that will be used to purchase supplies that are needed for this disaster relief. If you cannot physically bring items to us , this fund will allow you to donate funds directly to the affected areas of Fairview to include the areas of Old Fort Road, Garren Creek Community and portions of the Broad River Community that we can access. We want these funds to go towards the current and long term needs of the community such as assistance to families to bury victims of the flood, assisting in cleanup and restoration to homes in our community. This fund is intended for a long term plan to assist our community as it will take an extremely long time to get our community rebuilt and getting families back into their homes.
