Please Help Support Andrea and Bruce Trout

update** 12-1-19 Bruce did get a below knee amputation for now, and he’s doing so much better because of it. He has another surgery Monday to determine if he will need an above knee amputation. He still has multiple surgeries ahead of him but They are hoping to get him out of the SICU today and into a normal recovery room for now. They are hopeful that Bruce will be able to be with me when I give birth. He is already on the road to recovery and has started physical therapy. We are so thankful appreciate all the prayers and support during this difficult time! Andrea and Bruce Trout are by far the most deserving, sweet couple. They are expecting their first baby on December 1st.

Friday, November 22nd Bruce stopped to help a car accident and was hit on the scene by another driver.  His femoral artery was severed down to the bone.  Due to the severity of the injury, he has a very good chance of needing his leg amputated. A miracle worker on the scene who also stopped to tend to the accident saved Bruce's life. She is the reason he is able to continue to fight.  He had an 8-hour surgery that day, another on Monday, and is expected to have a few more. Bruce is currently in the ICU fighting for his life and needs our help. 

This loving man will not be able to watch his daughter be born and has a very, very long recovery in front of him. He is expected to stay hospitalized for weeks to months. Best case scenario he will be in a rehab facility for months after leaving the hospital. 

Andrea is off work now to be with Bruce and will continue to be off for maternity leave. With Bruce in this condition, they are without any income.  The medical bills, mortgage, groceries, baby expenses, and gas costs will be continuing to grow and pile up. 

 They are both the first to step in and help anyone out, but absolutely hate asking for anything. It's our turn to help them. If there was ever a time for them to ask for help, it's now.
