Please help me continue to promote organ donation.

Hi, my name is Sam and I was fortunate enough to receive the gift of life when I received my simultaneous Kidney/Pancreas transplant in February 2014. I firmly believe that, if it had not been for that operation, and the generosity of strangers that I will never meet, I would now be dead.

Organ donation works, I'm living proof of this, and I am very lucky to have been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Transplant Games being held in Dresden in August of this year. Not only am I competing, but I also have the honour of being Captain of the Archery squad.

I am hoping to retain the two world championship gold medals I won in 2019 and am asking for you help to get me to Germany.

I am not asking for spending money, or money to cover the cost of kit I've had to buy to be there, or even the costs of the multiple training events across the country in order to get myself and the archery team ready for this huge event. All I am asking for is a contribution towards the travel, and registration, so I can get to Germany and have a roof over my head while I'm there.

I know its a lot to ask, especially at times like these when every penny counts, but anything you can afford to donate will be hugely appreciated. If there are any charitable organisations or companies willing to donate, I can have a small amount of advertising on my clothing and I would be more than happy to give a presentation on what I do and how this benefits myself and others like me.
