Pleading the Plight of the Perez Family

Have you ever had a friend that would do anything to help you out when the going gets tough. Someone who supports you and encourages you when you feel like you just can't keep going! These are the people I am inspired to share with you about today. They have faith in God and they are some of the kindest people I've ever met. I'm talking about the Perez Family. I go to school with Amanda Perez at Mott. We are both studying nursing.. and she is that friend that inspires me to be the best version of me. Between taking care of her family, she is a mom of 2  sweet girls, Peyton who is 9, and Aubree who is 8, all while still going to church and keeping up a 4.0 at Mott. She is one busy lady. Her Husband, Victor as you can only imagine has a busy life working to support his wife's dream to better herself with a college education by becoming a nurse! Things were going pretty great for them.. until this past year, when things started going wrong for them left and right.. This past July 2nd, 2019- Victor was diagnosed with a blood clot, and had to pay out of pocket for injections to dissolve it that his insurance wouldn't cover...Then on July 9th- Amanda and Victor took in her Sister and two kids to help her out of a toxic situation.
September 11th- Amanda had a hysterectomy out of necessity because of Polycystic ovarian syndrome( all of her organs were attached to her colon.)
And is if all of this wasn't overwhelming in and of itself, Victor was let go from his job on September 18th..not even a week later!!Victor is still waiting to receive unemployment - which could take 4-6 weeks.
Uber was the new source of income.. until Today when I received a phone call that Victor was in a terrible car accident and the Van was totaled..Praise God, he's not injured!!! The other vehicle they have is an unsafe one! It needs a new rack and pinion, power steering lines are bad, and it needs brake work( The estimated cost is 2000$-ouch!)  They just bought the Van in February 2019-The AC compressor went out but was covered under the warranty. Using the heat was causing it to smoke because it’s all connected with the AC so they had to get it fixed for him to continue to UBER (their only source of income at the moment). They were without the van From Tuesday to Thursday this week for the work to be completed. Even though it states in the warranty contract that this work is covered, the company didn’t cover the full amount so they had to pay $835 out of pocket. Victor cashed out his Fidelity loan from a previous job to help with the cost but they still ended up having to go negative in their bank account to cover the cost. He was able to Uber again Friday 10/18/2019(today) and he received his first pickup request but was unable to fulfill it because of the accident....
Please if you can give anything at all, even 5 or 10$  They need $2100 by the 30th of October to pay their rent or they will be evicted. This means that 4 children will be homeless as well. The place they live has already filed the court paperwork but were working with them because they were trying to get assistance from the state (State emergency relief) . This week, they found out they were denied because his unemployment hasn’t kicked in yet... We've all fallen on hard times before, but for most of us we haven't had to face the possibility of being homeless. They really need to raise $4100 to have one working vehicle and to stay in their home!! If you know Victor and Amanda, you know that they are awesome people, and they would help you without blinking an eye if put in the same situation, please help the Perez family at least for the sake of 4 cute kiddos, that may have to suffer some pretty sad consequences without your help!
