Help give a little "PEACE" to a family in "Pieces"

Hello Everyone,
I have been working on this diligently the past several days to convey this message for my very dear friend Sammy (Whom I have known since high school), his wife Lanette of 27 years and their five daughters. For over 25 years Sammy has had a successful mobile detailing business which helped his family to makes ends meet and keep their heads above water. Unfortunately, in January of 2023 Sammy noticed he had mole on his shoulder that increasingly grew. In April of 2023 Sammy went to have it checked out only to be told he had stage 3, skin cancer. In less than 2 months from that date it has gone from stage 3 to stage 4 skin cancer. Sammy and his wife immediately opted for chemotherapy. Doctors are dedicated to help stop the spread of this cancer. As of now, Sammy is very ill, unable to walk, and the melanoma has spread aggressively throughout his entire body. This has been incredibly difficult for his family and friends to witness as his illness progresses. He is currently in a wheelchair and often is extremely fatigue. As he battles with his cancer, Lanette, his wife continues to work full time to make ends meet and keep life for her girls (Ages 26,23,19, 15 and 11 years old) as normal as humanly possible considering the circumstances. Not only is she working full time but, with the help of her daughters when they come home from school or are not working themselves, she is the only caretaker for her husband. This has caused Lanette to miss much work to attend doctors’ appointments and assist her husband on those days when his pain is too unbearable. Also, for the rare days Lanette has been drained beyond exhaustion. With an 11-year-old daughter in school full time, a 15-year-old daughter in high school (Who is also a high school cheerleader) Lanette herself, has a very small window for rest and little next to no room for error. Weekends included. Lanette will drive every weekend to pick up their daughter from school at UC Santa Barbara on Fridays after work and again on Sunday evenings to take her back to the dorms just so she can spend time with her dad and siblings as much as possible. I have seen this family come together like no other at a time and in a situation when a lot of us might cave. I know this has taken an emotional toll on the family beyond what I can fathom. I also know that the financial toll has set them back terribly. As it currently stands the family is facing eviction from their residence of over 15 years due to the financial strain this has taken on them. The medical bills are rising, and the cost of medication is astronomical. As friends and family, we all help when we can but, that has not put a dent into what is needed. I am reaching out on behalf of this family to ask for donations of any kind to help assist and make this as less stressful for them as possible. It took a lot of convincing for this family to allow me to extend my help by organizing a “Go Fund Me” but, after several, long conversations they all agreed that they could use the assistance. This will allow my dear friend Sammy not only to have a little piece of mind but, will allow him to spend some quality time with his wife Lanette, his five daughters, and his only grandson so together they can navigate their way through the unknown. Only God can bless us with the gift of time but, we together we can help gift this family with the gift of “PEACE” of mind. Even if for a brief while. If you are willing and able, please know it would be much appreciated and the family eternally grateful. I especially would like to request ask for your gift of prayer for the strength, faith and hope during this time of uncertainty.
Thank you for your time.
