Help to save my life from Brain Tumor & Acromegaly

Dear Friends and Supporters,

My name is Abraham Akberom (aka wedi Ghetse), and I am reaching out with a plea for help to get a life saving medical treatment for a critical health condition. I am 34 year old and currently live in Semasem, Southern region of Eritrea. I am married and have two children aged 3 and 5. I was a secondary school teacher in the Southern region in Eritrea before my health deteriorated.

I have been battling a Pituitary Macroadenoma Brain Tumor and Acromegaly, debilitating diseases that have taken a toll on my daily life. I have been enduring severe headaches, back and joint pain and high blood pressure. The Acromegaly has caused me significant physical changes, leading to an abnormal body shape, swelling, and alterations in my appearance. These changes have made it incredibly challenging for me to move around and carry out daily activities.

Unfortunately, any of the medical facilities in Eritrea do not have the capability to treat my condition and my suffering is worsening due to Acromegaly, with the main cause being a Pituitary Macroadenoma Brain Tumor. The National Medical Board Committee of Eritrea has recommended for me to undergo brain surgery overseas to restore my health. However, my family doesn’t have enough funds to cover the cost of this life-saving treatment.

ኩቡራት የሕዋተይ ሂወተይ ንምድሓን ሓገዝኩም ክትልግሱለይ ብምሕረት ኣምላኽ እልምነኩም

ሓውኹም ኣብራሃም ኣኽበሮም (ወዲ ገጸ) ተቐማጢ ጉሕጭዓ (ሰምዓሰም) ዝኾንኩ፡ ወዲ 34 ብዐል ሓዳርን አቦ ክልተ ንኣሽቱ ቆልኡ 5ን 3ን ዕድሜኦም ፤ ቅድም ምሕማመይ ኸኣ ናይ ካልኣይ ደረጃ ትምሕርቲ መምሕር ኔይረ፡፡ ኣብ ሳዋ ሃገራዊ ኣገልግሎት ክፍጽም ኣብ ዝወረድክሉ ግዜ ኣትሒዙ፡ ሃንደበት ቃንዛ ርእሲ ክገብረለይ ጀሚሩ። ብድሕሪኡ ኣብ ሕምብርቲ መምህር ኮይነ እንዳሰራሕኩ፡ ኩነታት ጥዕናይ እንዳኸፍአ ብምምጽኡ፡ ቅርጺ ኣካላተይ ዘይንቡር ቅርጺ ብምሓዝ ክጉብጥን ክንቀሳቐሰሉ ኣብ ዘይክእለሉን ደረጃ ስለዝበጻሕኩ፡ ብተወሳኺ ከኣ ምሉእ ኣካለይ ብምሕባጡ፡ መልክዕ ትርኢተይ ብምቕያሩ፡ ምስ ሰብ ክሕወስ ነብሰይ ክሳዕ ዝጸልእ ኮይነ። ኣብ ሕክምና፡ ተመላሊሰ ዝኾነ ለውጢ ከምጽእ ኣይከኣልኩን። ኣብ ወርሒ 08/2023 ኣብ ሃገራዊ መወከሲ ሆስፒታል ኦሮታ ብዝተገብረለይ መርመራ ብሕማም ምምዝባል ሆርሞናዊ ነዝዒ (Acromegaly) ከምዝተጠቓዕኩ እቲ ቕንዲ ጠንቂ ድማ ኣብ ሓንጎለይ ዘሎ ዓቢ ጥረ (Pituitary Macroadenoma Brain Tumour) ምኻኑ ተሓቢሩኒ። ከም ሳዕቤኑ ከኣ ከቢድ ቃንዛ ርእሰን ሕቆን ፥ጸቕጢ ደም፡ ጉርንጉሪትን ኣከቲሉለይ። ሃገራዊ መዲካል ቦርድ ኮሚቴ ኤርትራ፡ ነዚ ዘጋጠኒ ጸገም ብምርኣይ፡ ኣብ ወጻኢ ሃገር ዝሓሸ ሕክምናዊ ሓገዝ (ዕዉት ናይ ሓንጎል መጥባሕቲ) እንተረኺበ ናብ ዝነበርክዎ ምሉእ ጥዕና ክምለስ ከምዝኽእል ስለዝሓበሩኒ: እቲ ናይ ሓንጎል መጥባሕቲን ሕክምናን ክፍሊት ድማ ሚእቲ ሽሕ ($100,000) ዶላር ኣመሪካ ስለዝኮነ ልዕሊ ዓቅመይ ኮይኑኒ። ኣብ ወጻኢ ሃገር ከይደ ንኽሕከም፡ ካብ ኣብ ውሽጥን ወጻእን ዝርከብ ህዝብና፡ ሓገዝ ይሓትት ኣለኹ’ሞ፡ ዓቕምኹም ኽትሕጉዙኒ ብስም እግዚኣብሄር እልምን ኣለኹ።
