Plea for help for Thomas Howe Jr. and his family

**Update 5/23/23**

Sadly, Tom lost his battle with cancer this morning. He gave it everything he had and fought hard....so hard....and so long, but his body just couldn't keep up. Please continue to pray for Tom's precious wife and children whom he loved more than life, and for his entire family and all of his friends. ***If you can, please continue to donate to this fund. Maureen and the kids are still very much in need of help.*** On behalf of Tom and his family, a tremendous thank you for all of your love and financial support thus far. Let's continue to take care of his family for him. Praying for God's peace, strength and comfort over all who loved Tom.

**UPDATE** Wow! People have been so generous and everyone is so appreciated. Tom, Maureen and the kids are grateful beyond imagination. As you can imagine, the amount raised so far is really just a drop in the bucket of what is needed. Unfortunately, the bills continue to surmount. Please keep sharing the link to all social media platforms. Above all, they really need your prayers for hope and healing.

On behalf of Thomas Howe, Jr., his wife Maureen, and their three amazing, beautiful and brilliant young children, I ask that you please consider helping this family as Tom continues to fight an aggressive cancer. They need help for daily expenses, utilities, food, gas, items for the children, and of course medical expenses.

First and foremost, I ask that you ask God to provide miraculous healing to Tom's body to rid him of the cancer that has been threatening to take him from his family for far too long now. Please pray that God will give him the strength to keep on fighting, heal his body, and to do so quickly, as only God can do.

Friends and family who know Tom, already know that he is one of the most selfless, generous, kind, gentle and loving souls. He loves fiercely, his family, his friends, his coworkers, and even complete strangers. To those who don't really know this special man, let me paint a picture with just this one example: Tom has been the Golf Operations Manager at Majestic Oaks Golf Course for several years. Over the years, he created gardens, planted and dedicated trees, bushes and beautiful perennials all over the golf course in honor of several people's family members who had passed. This special tribute meant the world to these people, knowing that someone was thinking of them enough to make this beautiful gesture. If every person on earth would be more like Tom, I tell you this would be a magnificent place to live. If this page had the space, there would be so many more stories just like this that would exemplify who Tom is. Those who know him are truly blessed. My hope is we can return the blessings to Tom, Maureen and their children. They really need our help.

Sadly, as far too many people know, cancer is evil. It causes relentless emotional and physical suffering. It steals the best people from us. It takes away the ability to work. It devours life savings. This family desperately needs our help. Please take a moment to give any amount you possibly can. Any amount will be appreciated to help ease the financial stress for daily living for Tom, his wife and their young children. Furthermore, please ask your friends and family, even if they don't know him, to please consider making a donation. to help ease at least some of the great financial stress that they just don't need right now. Lord, open our eyes to ways we can bless others in need. Help us to share what we have, be it a little or a lot. Everything we have is from You so let us use it to serve others. Give us a heart like Jesus, a heart of compassion and love.
