Jeffrey's Playwriting Internship

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jeffrey Peacock and I am a BFA Musical Theatre Major at the University of Central Florida. I have been given the opportunity to intern this summer as a playwright at The Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, New York as a member of the Lab Academy.

This is a very rare internship and only a few playwrights are chosen to participate. My time in Ithaca will be spent in masterclasses about playwriting, as well as working with different members of the creative staff at The Hangar Theatre, as well as writing a play catered to the talents of actors assigned to my group. I will also spend time being mentored by a playwright from New York that will be joining us in Ithaca while his/her play is being presented.

Any funds raised here will go directly to the tuition and housing costs, $2400 and $1350 respectively. I also will need round trip airfare, which is varying in price.
