Your ROLE in “The Scarlet Thread”

Hi and thanks for stopping by. My name is Jan Palmer, an ex-secondary school drama and performing arts teacher, with over 20 years experience in teaching and directing plays for schools (most recent being “Matilda” the musical). I am passionate about theatre, and its ability to bring creative ideas to life.

Recently I have felt the “Call” to launch into the deep and set up an innovative theatre production company called “Genesis Horizon Gospel Productions” out of which, many original plays will be produced.

My desire is not only to inspire and lift the hearts of many within the Arts, but also to demonstrate to people who may have never encountered Christ before, to have a glimpse at His Love for all Humanity. It is from this desire that our first production “The Scarlet Thread” has been birthed.

Through amazing acting, singing, dance and spectacular digital visuals, I hope to bring the best “Love story ever told” to life. The story of Jesus’s redeeming love in a thought provoking and spiritually vibrant performance.

The journey to showcase The Scarlet Thread, is already underway. The actors are warming up, our auditions are still ongoing and our rehearsals have started. But we need your help!

Production costs when taking on such a tremendous leap of faith is significant and we need to raise £8,500 to showcase The Scarlet Thread in professional theatre surroundings and state of the art facilities. We are actively fundraising already and WITH your help, donations or monthly partnership, you will be a part of spreading hope and light, not only through the message of the play, but in the lives of many people who have already volunteered their time and expertise behind the scenes at no financial cost.

The Scarlet Thread is due to debut in North London, at the Bernie Grant Arts centre before the end of this year. And as you can see from the picture above, I am standing in front of the very doors that I hope your financial assistance will open (it would also be great to see you too, walking through them on opening night)!

So, my fellow producers, your “Role” in the “The Scarlet Thread” will be to help us raise an extra £5,000 as quickly as possible towards the costs, so that rehearsals and filming can continue.
