At R2 Lacrosse Club, we believe in using the game to make a positive impact beyond the field. Throughout the season, our teams participate in fundraising initiatives that support charities and organizations that are meaningful to our club, our families, and our community.
As part of these special events, players receive custom-designed jerseys to wear during select tournaments, helping raise awareness while representing a cause greater than the game. These opportunities allow our athletes to give back, honor those who inspire us, and learn the importance of leadership, service, and community involvement.
As a veteran-owned and veteran-run program, with veterans serving on our coaching staff, our annual military-themed fundraiser holds a special meaning for the R2 family. Each year, our teams wear custom jerseys representing the military units of our coaches, staff, and R2 families as a way to honor those who have served and continue to serve our country.
Proceeds from this fundraiser are donated to the Gary Sinise Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders, active-duty service members, and their families. Last year, our R2 Roughnecks families came together to raise over $5,000 in support of this incredible cause, and we look forward to continuing that tradition of giving back this season.
