Playing 54 for my Big Brother Kelly

Dear friends and fellow golf enthusiasts,

On June 21, I will once again participate in TPC Toronto's "Your 54" event along with good friends Larry, Jonny and Matt, where we will take on the once-a-year challenge of playing Osprey’s three fantastic tracks - Hoot, Heathlands, and North—in a single day!

This year holds even deeper meaning for me as I play with a purpose. In February, my beloved big brother, Kelly, sadly lost his battle with cancer. As we approach June 21, which is Kelly's birthday, I find solace in cherishing the memories we shared and honouring his profound impact on my life. As a youngster, Kelly instilled within me a deep love for sports and the great outdoors, helping to nurture my passions, including golf and all of its rollercoaster rides!

To honour Kelly's memory, I have decided to dedicate this epic day of golf to his legacy. With each birdie, par, bogey and “other” I make through 54 holes, I want to raise funds for a cause that will serve as a lasting tribute to his memory - a dedicated Memorial Park Bench in Kelly’s name in his hometown of Vancouver. A place where friends, family, and even strangers can find joy and reflection in its presence.

I invite you to consider contributing any amount, perhaps a multiple of 54 - $5.40, $13.50, $27 or $54, with all proceeds going directly towards the purchase of the Kelly Marcotte Memorial bench.
