We’re kicking off a fundraising campaign to make a big dream a reality: building a crowdfunding platform that will empower communities to save and grow their local youth sports programs.

At PlaygroundStars, we’ve seen firsthand how rising costs and pay-to-play models have sidelined countless kids, leaving families and neighborhoods without the joy and connection that sports provide. Now, we’re taking action to change that—but we need your support to get this platform off the ground.

PlaygroundStars will be a game-changer for community-based youth sports organizations. It will give them the tools to raise funds for what they need most at no-cost. By empowering communities to keep funding local, we’re ensuring that kids stay active and engaged in their own communities instead of being priced out by exclusive programs.

The need is urgent. Studies show that cost is the number one reason kids from lower-income families don’t participate in sports, and for those who do, the top reason they quit is that kids don't find it fun anymore. By building this platform, we’re tackling both of these issues head-on—making youth sports affordable and restoring the focus on fun, teamwork, and personal growth.

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $80,000 by January 1st, 2025 to make this platform a reality. This amount is to build a first of it's kind crowdfunding experience dedicated strictly to community-based youth sports organizations.
