Playground Renovation for Carrakennedy Playschool

For many years, Carrakennedy Community Playschool has been at the heart of our community, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children. We pride ourselves on offering much-needed support to our families, many of whom have challenging work schedules.

From the tiniest pre-schoolers taking their first steps into the world of learning, to the national school children who rely on our breakfast and after-school club, we have been there every step of the way, helping children to thrive.

However, as our community has grown and evolved, so too have the needs of our children. Our outdoor area, once a vibrant space, has become dated and in need of a significant revamp.

Our vision is to create a safe, modern, appealing, and multifunctional outdoor area that will not only be a source of pride for parents but also a place of fun and discovery for our children. We want to introduce new play structures, sensory gardens, and a learning zone that cater to all age groups, ensuring that we can support the development of every child that attends.

To make this dream a reality, we need your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to creating the outdoor area our children deserve.

Over the next 12 months we will be running a series of fundraisers to help reach our target of €7000.
