Play Space for Special Education Non-Profit

F.U.S.E.(Foundations for Understanding Social Engagement) is a therapeutic nonprofit school in Norwood, MA. Our program serves children from preschool through first grade with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Language Disorders, and Sensory Processing Disorders.

Our students are nothing shy of amazing with the largest imaginations. The F.U.S.E. approach is to help our kids build a strong sense of self, grow their confidence, and create social connections. How do we do this? Through PLAY of course!

PLAY helps children develop social skills and critical thinking capabilities to be happy, healthy, and successful. Our students are at the age where play is crucial. We want to create a space outside of the classroom that gives them an opportunity to let their imagination soar.

 

With the money raised our hope is to reinvent our outside pavement area! Our vision is to create a sandbox for sensory play, tire structure, mud kitchen, building station, a fence, as well as a pretend play driving course.
