Players of Ethos is an independent theatre company based in the heart of London, dedicated to acting training and theatrical creation for amateur and emerging performers — and not only.
We believe that theatre should not be a privilege.
It should be accessible, inclusive, and rooted in community.
That is why we are fundraising.
Why Players of Ethos?
Players of Ethos is one of the very few theatre companies in London that:
- Offers high-quality acting classes in affordable prices in the heart of London
- Runs Greek-speaking and English-speaking groups, supporting both the Greek diaspora and the wider international community
- Produces full theatrical productions every year, giving performers real, hands-on stage experience
- Operates independently, without institutional funding — sustained by passion, collaboration, and people who believe in what we do
At our core, we are about people coming together through theatre.
Why are we fundraising?
Our goal is simple — but essential:
to keep our classes affordable
to strengthen and grow our artistic community
to sustain our end-of-year productions without compromising quality or access
Every year, from early May to mid-June, Players of Ethos enters what we lovingly call our : “artistic month”!
It’s a period when:
- We present multiple productions
- Performances are spread across almost every weekend
- Different groups step onto professional stages
- Our performers experience the entire creative journey — from rehearsal room to live audience
It’s intense.
It’s joyful.
It’s what theatre is all about.
And yes — it is also financially demanding.
What your support helps us cover
Your contribution directly supports:
- Theatre hire & technical costs (lighting, sound, stage management)
- Set, props, and costume materials
- Rehearsal space costs
- Production and marketing expenses
- The everyday administrative and operational costs that keep everything running
