After applying over and over again trying to get assistance from the government through lenders and sba.gov, we continued to get denied. The reasons they gave us why we were being denied was because we had no taxable income in 2019 and our reason why we don’t have taxable income is because we are a BRAND NEW business that started at the end of September 2019.  We put all our hard earned money into bringing the community the Players Lounge Barbershop. So we were barely getting by with our bills costing atleast $7,500 per Month just to stay open and run the Barbershop. So by us being a NEW business, we made no money and of course we were in the NEGATIVE with our earnings and the sba.gov says that if you are in the NEGATIVE or at ZERO with your earnings then you DO NOT QUALIFY. We are already in the hole financially because we just started and this just puts us in a bigger hole that we may not be able to climb out of. It would really be a shame if this situation we are in would cause us to shut down our Barbershop. We were all just trying to do something POSITIVE and bring the community a Barbershop they can call home.  We appreciate all the support that you all give us and any donation or share of this would be greatly appreciated and we want you all to know we are here for you and hopefully we can stay here for you.
