Superheroes 19-Mile Didcot - JR Oxford Walk
Support the Play2Give Superheroes as some of them embark on their first biggest challenge of the year helping to raise money and awareness for sick children in hospital.
Mr Incredible, Batman, Robin, Supergirl and others wearing P2G tops will be strolling over 19 plus miles from Didcot Football Club to the Oxford Children's Hospital at the JR in Oxford on Saturday, September 21st.
They hope to raise as much money as possible and would love to come back with heavy buckets full of lots of ££'s to help support the poorliest of young patients and their families at the Oxford Children's Hospital, and with your help and support you can also be a superhero by donating generously to aid their superheroic effort.
This will for them be a huge physical challenge as they set off at 8.30am from the Didcot Football Club before walking through Didcot, including a collection in the Orchard shopping centre, through towns and villages including Steventon, Drayton, Abingdon (with a collection outside Waitrose in the town) before Radley, Kennington and into Oxford before arriving at destination the JR Children's Hospital by 5.30/6pm.
If you spot the P2G Heroes on your travels on 21st September please dig deep with all spare change and £'s (and even notes) and help make their first ever huge mammoth walk extra worthwhile so that they can help raise as much money as possible for the Oxford Children's Hospital, whilst raising the profile and awareness of Play2Give , a Didcot-based fundraising organisation headed by ''Mr Play2Give'' himself, Andrew Baker BCAv, who has raised and donated over £175,000 to charitable causes since 2003
