PLAY! summer camp at TXL

UPD: All additional money over the amount we started the campaign with will go towards the programs we have planned at Willkommensschule TXL this fall! Yes, we want to do longer term programs at UA-TXL, children there need ongoing support. We don't have the money for this work yet and your support can really help us to keep going.
Tegel Ukrainian Accommodation Center (UA-TXL) is the largest in Berlin with 700+ children and teens there. Many of them do not go to schools or kindergartens yet, live in very cramped conditions and unfortunately face systematic violence within the center.
PLAY!Berlin is organizing a seven-day art camp at UA-TXL. The summer camp will be hosted by Willkommensschule TXL, which has hospitably opened its doors to us. It will be led by experts in humanistic and non-violent education. We want to empower these children and young people through creative workshops and games . Our goal is to assist children in honing essential skills in horizontal communication and teamwork through engaging in artistic practices, ultimately creating an environment where every participant can achieve success.
The program consists of over 20 artistic workshops ( theater, movement, stage design, animation, and more) and can host more than 120 young people from Tegel Accomodation Center.
During these every-day workshops, children will work and play together to create a performance that will be presented at a culminating family festival held at UA-TXL at the conclusion of the program.
We have a team, a space, a full program, and we already raised a basic budget, but we still miss 3500€ to cover the salaries, food and materials.
Donate to help this program in Tegel happen!
