Play It Forward Virtual Concert Series Fundraiser!

Play It Forward was thrilled to host a Virtual Concert Series featuring 13 talented musicians/bands in order to raise funds for Play it Forward and Sweet Relief! Musicians "performed" via the PiF Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/PlayItFWDMusic, each night from March 29-April 3. We hoped you enjoyed the music and we are grateful for your kind donations.
The fundraiser initially supported two nonprofits:
Play It Forward is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of helping musicians make positive changes in the world. We do this by providing an online fundraising platform (www.PlayItForward.com) where musicians distribute their original songs in exchange for donations to charities of their choice, and 100% of proceeds go to these charities. We are run by volunteers and do not take a cut of the revenue from the fundraisers we host, which differentiates us from all other music distribution services and online fundraising platforms.
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund (sweetrelief.org) provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. Grant recipients include recording artists, club and session musicians, composers & songwriters from across the country. Sweet Relief was founded by singer-songwriter Victoria Williams in 1993.
Now that the concert series is over, 100% of donations made from May 1, 2021 and onward will go exclusively to Play It Forward.
