My name is BRANDI and I coach dance to a team of young talented girls here in Norcross, Ga. called Platinum Heat Dancers [PhD]. I put this team together 2 1/2 years ago but I've been coaching dozens of young dancers for almost 20 years and I've never been paid to coach. Mainly because its a passion that GOD placed on my heart many years ago and I genuinely love it. I take great pride in being a coach because I know I'm more than just a dance coach. I also  provide mentoring, guidance, nurturing, emotional and mental support, discipline, how to be a team player, helping them to set future goals, college and career guidance, spiritual guidance, dedication and a solid work ethic. I'm like a second mom to my girls. I work hard to help them through these tough years of change and growth. Helping them to make the best decisions in their teenage years to prepare them for their adult lives. I'm just blessed enough to be able to use dance to do it, which is something i love to do. The only thing that has at times been an issue is that I've always had to use or rent other people's spaces for my girls to have practices for perfomances. And although I'm truly grateful for those places and opportunities, I desperately want to have a place we can call our own. Platinum Heat Dance Studio! A place where our name is on the door. Where my girl's pictures adorn the walls and a place that serves as kind of a second home for them. My goal is to raise a few thousand dollars so that i can pay the rent for 6 months to a year. Also take care of the utilities and be able to get proper flooring and mirrors. This is a dream bigger than just these girls on my team right now, its to have a place for all the future PhD members to come and grow their talents, the characters and their spirits. Coaching dance is a gift from God and I just need the help to give my team a studio that myself and my girls to be proud of.
