Humanitarian logistics represents 60-80% of all aid expenditure (Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management, ETH Zurich), yet poor coordination wastes up to 50% of materials and one-third of allocated budgets (ETH Zurich, Emerald Insight). In Ukraine alone, 12.7 million people need humanitarian assistance while 645 organizations operate with limited coordination systems (UN OCHA).
Our Solution: Platforma
Born from real crisis experience, Alexis, founder of Doshka Foundation, discovered colleagues buying medical supplies at local pharmacies instead of sourcing directly from distributors - wasting time and money that could have saved more lives. This inefficiency, along with broader mismanagement, made it clear: we needed to rationalize, digitize, and streamline the entire system.
Platforma is the first comprehensive digital logistics platform built specifically for humanitarian aid. We connect nonprofits, recipients, donors, and suppliers in one trusted space where recipients can request specific aid where and when it's needed with minimal intermediaries.
