Support a Sustainable PHS Graduation!
In an effort to move PHS toward a greener future, we are aiming to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles at the high school. We have chosen the 2019 graduation to be a kickoff to this movement because it is the biggest event of the year in which over 1,500 single-use plastic water bottles are purchased, consumed, and thrown out.
Our alternative is to provide each graduate with a reusable PHS Nalgene water bottle during the event that they can keep and reuse in the future as a constant reminder of a simple act that helps the Earth. The money that is raised will go directly to purchasing these bottles. We are truly grateful as every donation is one step closer to a change.
Thank you,
Matthew Cincotta, Lydia Cohen; PHS Class of 2020
Alexandra Bar-Cohen; Co-Chair Sustainable Princeton
Susan Kanter; PTO President
