Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am reaching out to respectfully request your support in helping me participate in the SHAD Canada 2026 program - a highly competitive and transformative summer experience hosted at leading university campuses across Canada. SHAD focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), entrepreneurship, and leadership development for high-achieving high school students.
I am proud to share that I have been selected for SHAD Canada 2026 through a rigorous national selection process. This opportunity will allow me to engage in hands-on learning, collaborate with talented peers from across the country, and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. It closely aligns with my academic interests and future goals, and I am excited about the growth and perspective it will bring.
While I am deeply committed to attending, the program and associated costs present a financial challenge for my family. I am therefore seeking sponsorship or financial support to help make this opportunity possible.
Any contribution—no matter the amount—would have a meaningful impact on my ability to participate. I would be grateful for your support and would be happy to share updates on my experience and what I learn throughout the program. I also hope to give back by applying these experiences in ways that positively impact my community.
If you are not in a position to contribute, I would sincerely appreciate you sharing this message within your network. Every form of support, whether through a donation or by spreading the word, truly helps bring me closer to this goal.
Thank you very much for your time, consideration, and encouragement. It means a great deal to me.

About Me
My name is Ashwin, and I am 16 years old, currently in Grade 11 at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School. I am dedicated to maintaining strong academic performance while actively engaging in extracurricular activities that support my personal growth and teamwork skills.
I have a strong passion for sports, particularly baseball and badminton. In 2024, I was honoured to receive the Hardest Hitter Award as part of the Mississauga North Baseball Association (MNBA) championship-winning team. I am also a member of my school’s badminton team, which captured the ROPSSAA Championship in 2025.
Beyond team sports, I am a confident swimmer and enjoy playing the piano. I prioritize staying active through regular exercise and healthy habits. In my free time, I like reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
