Plaque for Michael Jerryson

My name is Diana Palardy and Michael Jerryson was a dear friend and colleague of mine. We are creating a Gofundme fundraiser to cover the cost of a plaque that will be under a tree dedicated to him on the Youngstown State University campus. The tree and plaque will be located in front of DeBartolo Hall, on the pathway heading north from DeBartolo to the Recreation Center. The following will appear on the plaque:

1974-2021

Distinguished Professor of Religious Studies

In memory of Michael Jerryson

In all he studied,

In all he taught,

And in all the lives he touched,

He made the ordinary extraordinary.

If any funds are raised above the cost of the plaque, the remaining proceeds will go directly to his family.
