We’re reaching out to support our teammate and close friend Planty, who recently suffered a horrific knee injury while playing for Dandy City.

His injury is extremely severe and includes:

• ACL tear

• LCL tear

• MCL tear

• Hamstring tendon torn off the bone

• Popliteus tendon torn off the bone

This is not just a standard sports injury ,it’s a complex, multi-ligament reconstruction that requires major surgery, long-term rehabilitation, and months (if not longer) away from the game he loves.

During this time off, there is unfortunately no walking, no work, no income and no sick leave due to visa restrictions.

Unfortunately, due to his current insurance and visa situation as a UK resident, a significant portion of these surgical and medical costs are not covered. This leaves him facing a huge financial burden on top of an already incredibly tough physical and mental recovery.

Planty is the kind of teammate who gives everything — on and off the pitch. He’s always there for others, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.

We understand that times are tough for many, but any donation — big or small — will go a long way in helping cover:

• Surgery costs

• Rehabilitation and physio

• Ongoing medical expenses
