Plantosaurus a species that won’t extinct

Hello wonderful creatures, my name is Lyam Soto and I am the owner of Cocina Plantosaurus. My friends and I started this project in 2017 cooking Puerto Rican vegan meals in my home kitchen in Charles Town WV with hopes and dreams of opening a restaurant one day. Little did we know that in 2021 we’d be able to open our dream location with the help of a very supportive community.
Fast forward two years later we are still standing, it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, we’ve had our challenges due to the high costs of ingredients and specialty ethnic foods shortage, but we’ve managed ways to keep going.
Right now we are trying to figure out how to fulfill the community needs, like offering healthier lunch options and expanding our brand for retail/take home products that could potentially be shipped nationwide .
To be able to do this we need to raise capital to invest in extra refrigeration and extra hands to help us keep up with demand. That’s why I am reaching out to you, our community; I am hoping this new project can give our business a boost to help us keep our doors open because we really do love what we do and wish to stick around for a little longer.
Cocina Plantosaurus is a reality today because many of you believed in us since day one. I don’t have enough words to thank you for the love and support you’ve shown, it’s truly an honor and a privilege to serve all of you and we hope to keep rocking y’all’s world at 216 W Washington St, Charles Town WV. See you around, cool kids.
