My name is Jeffrey James, and many of you know me through my work with dogs and animal rescue. But right now, I’m in Jamaica — specifically in Saint Elizabeth — helping families rebuild through farming. Saint Elizabeth is known as the breadbasket of Jamaica, and farming is how many families survive. But right now, several local farmers are struggling. Land needs clearing, seeds are limited, tools are worn down or broken, and equipment is expensive.

I’ve been working alongside a few farmers — clearing land, sowing seeds, and planting crops — but we need more resources to truly make an impact. This fundraiser will help purchase vegetable and fruit seeds, farming tools (hoes, cutlasses, shovels), irrigation supplies, soil preparation materials, and equipment rentals for land clearing. Every dollar will go directly toward helping these farmers plant, grow, and harvest food that supports their families and local communities.

This isn’t just about crops. It’s about food security, independence, and restoring dignity through hard work.
