Our Maui team needs help, so we have created this GoFundMe.
Last month due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were forced to layoff our entire West Maui team. Almost 150 employees at Plantation House and Castaway Cafe. This was undoubtedly the hardest thing we have ever done. We cleaned out our refrigerators, locked up our restaurants and distributed the perishable product to our team that we could not preserve.
100% of donations collected via this GoFundMe site will go to our Maui team who have been affected by our doors closing. These are the people that make Plantation House and Castaways Cafe what we are, family.
The funds will be distributing through grocery gift cards to help our staff purchase everyday essentials and groceries.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to the time when we can again save a seat for you at our restaurants.
