Since 2022, the team behind the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon has planted thousands of Rhododendron Barbatum trees across the Everest region. These beautiful, high-altitude natives don’t just bloom, they protect soil, stabilize the ecosystem, shelter endangered wildlife like the Musk Deer, and help combat global warming by capturing carbon.

We’re setting a bold goal: To Plant 100,000 Rhododendrons for Everest.
