Plant trees in memory of Daniel Feinstein

Donation protected
Daniel Feinstein, my dear brother-in-law of 38 years, passed away last week after a long and valiant battle with esophageal cancer. At just 61 years of age, Danny was an amazing human being; a bright, caring and righteous soul who was taken from us way too soon. He was an inspiration and a role model to many - charismatic, brilliant, strong willed, successful, and insanely generous. Danny was clever and quick witted; he could turn on the charm at a moment's notice, or make you laugh hysterically. The man was larger than life. He was always there for his family and friends, to lend a helping hand or to impart valuable advice. He touched so many, and changed us all for the better. We will miss him greatly.

I can't think of a more meaningful symbol than a tree to represent his life, his struggle and his legacy; a permanent remembrance - strong, resilient, life giving, and offering beauty and protection. After his family, Danny's second great love was the State of Israel. If you would be so kind, I am asking for donations so we can plant trees in the Holy Land in his name and in his memory. Any amount, large or small, will be greatly appreciated, and all of the proceeds will go to the Jewish National Fund for this specific purpose. My goal is to plant a minimum of 100 trees, but I think Danny would be tickled to have an entire forest in his name! Thank you so much in advance!
