Hi my name is Susan and in February 2025 I I started clearing a long strip of land in Kelsey Lane. With some neighbours we planted 16 native trees, lots of shrubs and other plants. With our care they have thrived. In September 2025 we cleared and planted a further stretch of border. The aim of this project is to restore an ancient lane, enhancing the environment and giving pleasure to the many people who walk down the lane every day. We are now working further up the lane in an area where rubble and rubbish has accumulated, forming a bank. We are currently clearing this and will plant native hedging species in the autumn, under planted with wild flowers.
