The PC Colts Youth Football organization made a decision last year to cancel our  football season to assure the health and well-being  of our  athletes, coaches and parents during the COVID19 pandemic.  With 2020 behind us and COVID 19 guidelines and pre-cautions in place we decided to PLAY FOOTBALL and begin preparations for the 2021 Colts Football season.   

Pre-Season Inventory left the Colts Organization with an unexpected issue, that will again put our season in jeopardy, each year before the season starts football  helmets are sent out for certification to assure our athletes are fully protected.  

This season our league helmets failed inspection, due to Heat Stress fractures, making the helmets unsafe for players  to wear.  With this type of damage the helmets can not be repaired they have to be replaced,  leaving us facing a bill of $ 10,000.00 to replace the helmets.

Normally, we would replace the helmets within the league from funds, raised during  regular season from concession sales, registration, gate donations, community and parent support.  However, because the season was cancelled last year due to COVID19 shutdowns we do not have funds to replace the helmets. Without new helmets the league will be forced to cancel another season or prolong the season opening to raise  money for new helmets.

The Plant City Colts  registration begins on March 22, 2021, not giving us enough time (within the organization) to replace the helmets before practice begins 1 month later.  The helmets HAS to be replace prior to practice  for the safety of our players, without new helmets will not allow our kids to play football, we can not Compromise Safety. 

Our goal is to raise  $ 10,000.00, the funds will be 100% used to  purchase new football helmets prior to our practice season beginning in April.  All donations are appreciated and we Thank You in Advance for your Support.
