Hey there! My name is Dr. Janine Scott, and I am an African American woman with a dream. Not just any dream, but one given by God that began 45 years ago. That's when God placed the desire in my heart to be a physician, and it hasn't changed since. He told me 4 things to remember over time: 1. He would make me a doctor, 2. I would write a book (I have now written 4), 3. He would give me a voice in His house, and 4. Don't get the big head. He has been faithful, as have I tried to be. all of these years. Well, He's now doing a new thing! Actually, He is reviving an old dream. Dry bones of a dream are coming together to live again. My heart's desire is to use the knowledge of medicine and gift of healing that God's given me to take care of His people. Not just in a normal way, but in the formation of a free Community Clinic that will provide care for the uninsured and underinsured. In this current socioeconomic climate, people are struggling and need help. God is raising up His people to meet that need. As a Christian physician, He has blessed me with the unique ability to care not only for a person's physical need, but for their mental, emotional, and spiritual needs as well. Compassionate care for the whole patient. FREE care, QUALITY care, care showing the love of Jesus to a hurting world.
