In January 2026, following months of illness, my husband and I discovered that our home was infested with toxic black mold called chaetomium. Since discovering this, we had to move out and throw away everything we own, or else risk getting sicker and sicker. Our home was also our place of business, housing all of the machinery and supplies for our sticker business, PlanningwithKay. Absolutely everything had to be thrown away -- sticker cutting machines, printers, computers, paper, inventory, shipping supplies -- leaving us unable to run our business or ship out our open orders.
We started PlanningwithKay almost 10 years ago, and it is our only source of income. This situation has been absolutely devastating. We are asking for some help so we can order new machinery and supplies for our business and start shipping out orders again.

Every dollar donated will go towards purchasing these items as soon as possible, and any additional funds raised will go towards additional shipping funds, paper, and shipping supplies. We look forward to getting back to work as soon as possible.
