Save Planet Tails Cat Cafe Shelter

Planet Tails has bitten off more than it can chew (pun) and needs your help to keep the Cat Adoption Shelter open! Planet Tails differs from traditional retail stores in that it offers an adoption center within the space. This has been a labor of love but the shop can not sustain hosting the adoption area for much longer without funding.
Looking for help, please.
We opened Dec. 6th, 2014, and we give space to our local government shelter, Domestic Animal Services. They are sadly at capacity sometimes and cats are put down. We decided to help these animals because they need it the most. Our county could not afford to have a satellite shelter in North Naples, so we chose to make one ourselves. DAS works closely with us and provides vet care to the cats. But they do not have funds to give us.
We do not charge anything to adopt a cat, all the fees go directly to DAS. We do not receive litter, food, nor labor help from the county. We do it all. We ask visitors for donations, but, sadly, this has not been nearly enough to cover the operational costs, which we underestimated. Each year we need $19,888 to maintain the shelter space.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to keep the Cat Cafe’ Adoption Center open. This center is the "heart" of a true family pet center, providing a place where families can learn about animals and where cats can get adopted.
Goal: Raise $19,888 a year
If funds go past this goal we can expand the cat adotion area, which will allow us to care for more cats.
Note: Planet Tails Charities, Inc. is a 501c3 non profit. Donations may be deducted.

We love dogs too! Local veterinarians come to our place and teach kids about dog and cat care.
Every time a cat is adopted a green leaf is put on the Planet Tails Adoption Tree with the cat's name and adoption date on it.
Indy is a special needs cat who was recently adopted. His back legs have nerve damage, but he still runs fast so he was named Indy 500.
We love helping cats find forever homes. Please donate to save this shelter. We just started 6 months ago and we need support to keep it open so we have time to build it into a sustainable long-term shelter.
