Abubakir, Hamish and Juliet have just arrived back in Sydney after being kidnapped by the terror state of "Israel" and subjected to imprisonment and torture tactics.
These Australian Heroes put their lives on the line for the sake of Palestinians and Palestine, taking food to Palestinians in Gaza and trying to break the wicked siege.
These are humanitarian heroes, champions of freedom.
The Australian Government has told them they'll have to pay for the flight back to Sydney after finally being liberated and it seems they're being charged a high cost for tickets, as well as medical expenses for one of the heroes.
Upon hearing this from these good people today, I've organised to raise the funds. This is the least we can give to support.
In conversations, a few other groups have also agreed to fill gaps, most notably the Maritime Union of Australia.
Your donation will go towards the government loan these people have been asked to repay for tickets, as if kidnapping and torture by "Israel" wasn't an ordeal enough.
If there is any excess, it will go towards costs of any other humanitarian heroes being forced to pay to return home, or split equally among these three named individuals to cover costs after they've missed weeks of work and dedicated their lives to support Palestinian lives.
No good deed or act is in vain.
The ABC has reported on this here:
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-10-07/australians-from-flotilla-to-gaza-reports-from-israel-prison/105860420
"The ABC has obtained redacted summaries of five reports prepared by Australian diplomatic staff in Israel who met with the Australians in custody.
The reports contain allegations of prison guards kicking and slapping the detainees, using "sleep deprivation" techniques, and confiscating medication. Others said they were not physically abused but "humiliated", with one claiming he was told to "dance like a monkey". The men alleged they were placed in a "large cage" and then yelled at by an Israeli government minister, who called them "terrorists".
Note: I am located in Australia, as are the individual recipients of these funds. Money will be transferred to them.
