Plainfield Area Humane Society: Helping Animals in Need

My Name Is Nicola Russo and, starting the end of June, I am attempting to ride my bicycle 3,000 miles over the entirety of the East Coast Greenway starting in Maine and ending in Key West, FL. I will be aiming to finish my end to end journey in less than 60 days averaging just about 50 miles a day. If you would like to follow my progress and socials click here.

During the entirety of this trip I will be dedicating my effort to helping the Plainfield Area Humane Society.

Their mission is “to find a safe, loving and appropriate home for every homeless pet, including those with special needs or challenges. We strive to treat, heal, and provide optimal well-being for the animals placed in our care; and to create an environment where our animals receive love, respect and attention.”

In honor of that mission I will be seeking to raise an initial goal of $1 for every mile, a total of $3,000 by trip’s end. Any amount big or small is welcome.

If you have it in your heart I strongly encourage anyone in the area to consider adopting as well.
