Hi my name is Trish and I'm fundraising for my sisters family. My brother in law Steve contracted Covid and was gone within a week, leaving his wife and children shocked and devastated. Steve had just turned 50 and lived his life to the fullest. As a human being he was the most positive person you'll ever meet. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way for anyone, whether he knew you or not. Steve coached his sons baseball team and his daughters football team. All of the players loved him and the parents respected him. As part of a condolence text from a friend and "football parent" "Coach Steve was an AMAZING Dad, Husband, Coach, Businessman and just a great person inside and out. " To me, Steve was not my brother in law. He was my brother. As a husband Steve was a true partner to my sister. He was the guy you WANT your daughter to marry. That guy that loved unconditionally and with his entire soul. That guy that adored his wife and still brought her flowers on a regular basis, even after 20 years. That guy that lived for his children and made sure they knew they were loved every day of their lives. He told me many times that "a day that his children don't laugh is a day he wasted as their dad."

This is a devastating loss. As Steve owned his own business and was the creative force behind it, he leaves his family struggling to work through their loss while his wife worries about how they'll move forward, not just as a family but financially. I'm hoping to raise enough money to help Alicia and the family get through one year without worrying about bills while they figure out the next steps in their lives without Steve.
