Place of Promise has been serving some of the most lost, hurt, and broken men, women and children of Massachusetts for over 25 years. Place of Promise comes alongside those looking to rebuild their lives from the devastating impacts of addiction.
In 2018, we significantly expanded our adult long-term residential program and our children's program, called Kids of Promise. With the increased number of children and adults being served, we now need a second 12-passenger van for church, medical appointments, and recreational activities.
We currently utilize a single 12-passenger van for these transportation needs, but much of the added responsibilities have caused increase use of cars and drivers, including the staff’s personal vehicles to transport everyone.
A second van would help us meet our transportation needs in a much more efficient and safe manner than this present system. It also helps ensure that our organization will continue to grow and serve the countless men, women, and children in our service area.
We have spoken to several dealers to price a used, low mileage, Ford Transit 12-passenger van. Based on their estimates, this van would cost $29,400.
Together, through contributions large and small, we can work to make a significant difference in the lives of those who need our help the most.
