Hi everyone! Our names are Millie and Charlotte, we are both student nurses at the University of Manchester. We’ve been given a life changing opportunity to complete a placement in Iloilo, Philippines, where we will be able to provide essential care and learn about healthcare in a new cultural context.

Since beginning our journey in nursing, we promised ourselves we would do everything we could to understand, support, and care for people from all walks of life. This opportunity could change not only our career, but who we are as people. This placement will push us, teach us, and help us grow into the nurse we want to become.
