As many of you know, Micky Enright -- founder and president of the Place of Hope breakfast program in Cotacachi  -- has suffered an ischemic stroke, which has impaired her speech, and a fall that caused a severe fracture of her ankle that has required intensive surgery and wound care.  She has been tranferred from the IESS hospital in Ibarra to the Metropolitana hospital in Quito, where she is receiving specialized care.   A fund is being set up to provide financial assistance to Micky and her family for the private medical treatment that goes beyond her IESS medical insurance plan.  Donations to this fund can be made via PayPal to [E-Mail ausgeblendet] or via GoFundMe.  The initial goal is $5000, but the actual need may exceed this amount, depending on the treatments needed to return her to health.  Your generosity will be greatly appreciated in this difficult time.
