Cancer for the second time….
Donation protected
Hi. This is so hard for me to do. I’ve always worked and now I can’t. I had cancer for the first time 13 years ago. I suffer the side effects from the treatments such as bone degeneration, lymphoedema, chronic fatigue and pain and now for the second time I have cancer.
I worked at my local hospital all through covid but now because of my physical health and my high risk of infection during chemo, I can’t do my job.
For the first time in my life I’m relying on benefits and I feel like a burden to society.
I am a single mum of two teenage girls, 16&19 who are both in full time education.
I only get a bit of help for my 16 year old but not my 19 yr old.
I’m asking for a little help with my bills just whilst I go through this and hopefully can get back to work next year. I just don’t need any more stress
I’ve just had my second operation and waiting for staging of my cancer.
i have always been so independent so this is such a hard thing for me to do
if you feel you can help, I would appreciate it. I know we are all in the same boat
