Johnny's journey to recovery

Hi, my name is Marie and I'm fundraising on behalf of my triplet brother Johnny Maguire.

For those who don't know my brother, he is a loving father to his 5 kids and stepson. His eldest is 13 years old and his youngest will be celebrating his 1st birthday in the coming weeks. His partner and kids are his life.

For several months my brother made numerous visits to A&E only to be told he had a bad case of tonsillitis. Two weeks ago after undergoing an MRI scan he was given the dreadful news that he has an aggressive form of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. He has a sizable tumour from his nose to the back of his throat.

Having discussed treatment options with his partner Belinda, Johnny would like to opt for Immunotheraphy treatment. I have been in contact with doctors from the Hope4Cancer hospital in playas de Tijuana in Mexico where we are hoping to get this treatment done.

The money raised will allow me to travel with my brother to Mexico and cover the costs involved with this treatment.
