Suzy's cancer fund

Our friend Suzy, a proud Brit, is a vivacious and spirited woman who always has a smile and a hug for family and friends. Last year, she discovered a lump on her tongue which turned out to be cancer. Being the strong woman she is, she tackled her first surgery with humor and grace.  She was told that they removed all the cancer and it had not spread to her lymph nodes. At first, every weekly doctor appointment came back with good news. However, she just discovered the cancer is back and now spread to her neck and lymph nodes. She has to undergo yet another surgery to remove as much of the cancer before she begins daily radiation treatments which she was told will be excutiating. Because the cancer is in her mouth, she will be on a feeding tube. She also will need to undergo 8 hours of chemo weekly.  The co-pays alone are going to cost $150 a day but this does not include other doctor fees and plastic surgery to reconstruct her tongue and neck. We are devastated that our Sassy Brit has to endure such a travesty. After a divorce and all that comes with it, she found a place of balance and just bought herself a home. Now she’s in danger of losing it and much more. Please help if you can – every penny matters!
