On the morning of March 21st, 2015 my sister woke up to feed their almost three week old daughter Addisyn around 3 a.m. and put her back down to sleep in her crib shortly after. McKenzie woke up close to 6 a.m., and felt as if something was wrong. She immediately went to check on Addisyn to find that she was not breathing. They called 911 and Kyle performed CPR unil the paramedics arrived at their house. They instantly whisked Addisyn away in  the ambulance to the hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after.





There was absolutely no indication that this was going to happen. She was born 5 weeks premature, but was released from the NICU after a short stay so she could go home with her mom, dad and her two big sisters. All was well until this fateful morning. We still have no answers, but hope to gain insight as to what caused Addisyn's death soon. As of now the medical response team has said they believe it to be a case of SIDS, but we won't have definite answers for a few more days.


This Go Fund Me page is being set up in hopes of helping raise enough money to cover the costs of Addisyn's funeral and some additional money to cover any extra associated costs, as well as the time that Kyle will need to take off work in order to help their famly grieve this devestating loss. As we know, funerals are expensive, and McKenzie and Kyle have two other little girls at home that need to be cared for and provided for throughout this process as well.  We hope to raise enough for McKenzie and Kyle to not have to worry about anything other than continuing to raise their girls and work through this life-altering tragedy.
